NAB 2024: Nearly 1,300 NAB Show Exhibitors Showcase Groundbreaking New Products, Technologies (MESAonline)

The 2024 NABShow in Las Vegas, marking its 101st year, presents a grand showcase of nearly 1,300 exhibitors, featuring from startups to industry giants, all demonstrating cutting-edge media technologies. This year’s event, spanning from April 13-17, expects to attract between 65,000 and 70,000 attendees from 160 countries, making it the world’s largest marketplace for advanced technologies in media and entertainment. Technologies on display include generative AI, ATSC 3.0, and various innovative broadcasting and content creation solutions. Eric Trabb of NAB emphasized that this year’s exhibitors are set to transform content creation, distribution, and consumption, with the show serving as a critical platform for fostering industry relationships and sparking discussions around next-generation technologies.

The show will feature over 150 sessions focused on the impact of artificial intelligence across the media spectrum, from production workflows to broadcasting, represented by leading tech giants like Microsoft, AWS, and Veritone. Additionally, the newly launched PropelME program aims to nurture early-stage tech entrepreneurs in broadcasting, with 19 startups participating this year. The event will also highlight the latest from research and development entities in Futures Park, showcasing international innovations, including those making their U.S. or global debut. Another focal point will be the ATSC 3.0 advancements, with a dedicated pavilion discussing the latest in distribution and delivery technologies. NAB Show continues to be a pivotal event for networking, learning, and exploring the latest in media technology, driving forward the discussions and developments that shape the future of the industry.
