Following its initial preview in November 2024, the new release introduces real-time file access via mobile apps for iOS and Android, web-based file navigation, and dynamic tiering that optimizes data management by balancing high-performance storage for active projects with cost-efficient long-term retention. Additionally, LucidLink now offers AWS S3-backed storage with no egress fees and is available on the AWS Marketplace, allowing users to leverage existing AWS contract commitments for procurement and budgeting.
Further bolstering security and accessibility, LucidLink now supports SAML-based Single Sign-On (SSO) with Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, and others, along with SSO authentication for Android to enhance mobile workflows.
