Amazon Web Services (AWS) has launched a new digital learning plan called AWS for Media & Entertainment – Content Production Foundations, designed to help content production teams gain skills in cloud-based workflows. The free training plan, available on AWS Skill Builder, consists of seven 30-minute courses that cover everything from introductory concepts to detailed configurations for workstations, storage, and security. This new plan is aimed at streamlining learning by focusing on the specific roles and services needed for content production in the cloud, making it easier for professionals to understand and implement cloud workflows in their projects.
Samira Panah Bakhtiar, General Manager of Media & Entertainment, Games and Sports at AWS, emphasized the importance of upskilling for the media industry’s ongoing shift to cloud technology. This new learning plan follows AWS’s successful Direct-to-Consumer & Broadcast Foundations plan and is part of a broader initiative to democratize content production by making cloud workflows accessible to creative professionals worldwide. AWS hopes this training will help more teams leverage the cloud to bring their stories to life and enhance production capabilities.
