Adobe Debuts New Premiere Pro, After Effects Enhancements (TENB)

As the 2025 Sundance Film Festival kicks off, Adobe is making waves with new innovations in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Frame.io, designed to streamline post-production workflows. With an estimated 85% of Sundance films using Adobe Creative Cloud tools, the company introduced AI-powered enhancements, including Media Intelligence & Search Panel for identifying content within shots, native caption translation in 17 languages, and improved caching and HDR support in After Effects. Frame.io’s Camera to Cloud (C2C) expansion now allows direct uploads from Canon EOS C80 and C400 cameras, making high-quality footage instantly accessible. Films like Opus, The Perfect Neighbor, and The Legend of Ochi leveraged Adobe’s tools to bring their creative visions to life.

Beyond product updates, Adobe is doubling down on industry support with an additional $5 million investment in the Adobe Film & TV Fund, aimed at helping underrepresented creators break into the industry. The Adobe Foundation is also donating $1 million to support Los Angeles creative communities affected by wildfires, reinforcing its commitment to fostering diverse voices in filmmaking. “Diversity in storytelling is not just about representation—it’s about ensuring unique voices shape the future of film and TV,” said Stacy Martinet, Adobe VP of Marketing Strategy and Communications. With these updates and investments, Adobe continues to drive innovation while championing inclusivity in the entertainment industry.
